“THE CELEBRATION OF MEDIOCRITY AND UNORIGINALITY IN “STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS”

Look … I liked the new “STAR WARS” movie, “THE FORCE AWAKENS”. I honestly do. Heck, I feel it is better than J.J. Abrams’ two “STAR TREK” films. But I am astounded that this film has garnered so much acclaim. It has won the AFI Award for Best Picture. It has been nominated by the Critics Choice Award for Best Picture.

Did you know that Jedi had cell phones...

Okay, not really. But if they did (or if you are an ultimate Star Wars Fan), this is what their/your phone would feature:

-The lock screen would feature Princess Leia, with a blaster, of course
-The home screen would feature Luke Skywalker with a light saber
-The home screen could also be Han Solo. Or better yet, Han Solo AND Luke Skywalker.
-Yoda and Darth Vader are also acceptable characters for the home and lock screens, as is the Millennium Falcon.
-The ringtone would be the main star wars theme.
-The ringtone for when your father calls would be the Darth...
